Your photographs
stay on your Mac.
EmulLab collects nothing about you. This is everything that goes online.

The app collects nothing
No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking. Your photos are processed on your Mac and never uploaded. Your edits stay in a catalog on your Mac.
Update checks
About once a day the app asks our server whether there’s a new version. Like any web request, that shows your IP address and which version of the app you have. It sends no profile of your Mac. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings › Updates.
Downloads and this website
The app, its updates and this website are served by Cloudflare, which logs requests (such as your IP address and the time) to deliver them and keep them secure, under its privacy policy. This site sets no cookies. To see which pages people read and how they found the site, it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies, without following you to other sites and without building a profile of you. The app itself collects nothing.
Feedback
Feedback is only what you choose to email us. Help › Send Feedback writes a report and opens it in your own email app, so you see everything before you send it; photos are never attached. Every report includes the EmulLab and macOS version numbers, which say nothing about you. Your Mac’s model, chip and graphics are added only if you tick that box. The report is also copied to your clipboard, so you can paste it into an email if no draft appears. Email to support@emullab.com is passed on by Cloudflare’s Email Routing to our Gmail inbox, so Cloudflare and Google handle it under their privacy policies. Ask and we’ll delete your messages.
Changes
If any of this ever changes, we’ll update this page first. Questions: support@emullab.com.
